At what age did you decide to pursue a medical career and why?
A.
You won’t believe this, but at age seven! I became sick with a febrile illness and was inspired by the doctor who took tare of me. He then became my role model.

What are your particular interests within your specialty?
A.
Thyroid disorders, general endocrinology, diabetes and osteoporosis.

What are your interests outside of work?
A.
Gardening, photography and literature.

What’s the best part about being a physician?
A.
The ability to help others resolve issues and ultimately help people live healthier
lives. Helping others provides a great deal of pleasure beyond any other achievement.
