Thank you for choosing Potomac Hospital for you healthcare needs.
STEP 1: Making An Appointment
To make an appointment at Potomac Hospital call (703) 670-1724 or (540) 659-1800, ext. 1724 or email CentralScheduling@potomachospital.com
Note: Not all procedures require appointments. If you are coming to the hospital for walk-in lab work or x-ray services, you do not have to have an appointment. However, registration is still required and you can register by completing the online form at least 48 hours prior to your visit.
STEP 2: Registration
After you have received a confirmed appointment time, registration is necessary. There are two ways to register for your appointment at Potomac Hospital:
1) In person at the Registration Department.
You can do this (1) on the day of your appointment (please arrive before your appointment time) or (2) at a convenient time before your appointment day. The Registration Department is located near the information desk in the main lobby of Potomac Hospital.
Please bring your insurance cards, prescriptions, referral and/or other necessary information from your physician with you. Current and accurate information will enable us to effectively serve you. Inadequate information can significantly delay the registration process.
Please make sure you have contacted your insurance company before the day of your appointment for eligibility and authorization requirements. Any co-payments, deductibles and other charges not covered by your insurance will be requested at the time of your visit, unless you have made other financial arrangements in advance.
If you do not have insurance, our Patient Account Representatives at (703) 670-1335 can assist in determining if you are eligible for self pay discounts, financial assistance, or Medicaid/SLH.
2) Online (at least 48 hours before your appointment or walk-in visit).
Click here to register online. Important Note: After you have registered online you will still need to come to the Registration Department on the day of your procedure. At that time we will confirm your information and ask you to sign consent and privacy forms.
