Potomac's Glenn Sheffield, R.N., administrative director, Irene V. Hylton Emergency Care Center, has been appointed by the national Emergency Nurses Association to their EN411 Program. This government affairs program connects ENA volunteers with legislators in an effort to bring healthcare issues to government attention. Glenn will be the key contact person for Virginia Senator James Webb and his staff.
Last year, Glenn served as president of the Virginia State Council of the ENA. During his tenure, the council grew from 997 to 1,115 members.
