In 1972, Sentara Potomac Hospital opened as a 29-bed facility with a small core of professionals dedicated to meeting the medical needs of a rapidly growing community. In response to those needs, Sentara Potomac Hospital has grown into a sophisticated healthcare center bringing a wide range of healthcare services to our community.
Today Sentara Potomac Hospital provides state-of-the-art diagnostic services including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, cardiovascular and interventional radiology, neonatal intensive care, radiation therapy and chemotherapy for cancer treatment, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
