What do you like most about being part of the Sentara Potomac Hospital team? |

Since beginning to work here in 1994 I have always liked the community hospital atmosphere. It is a pleasure to work with staff who like to work as a team. Working here is like having an extended family. |

What motivates you each day to provide exceptional customer service? |
A. |
It's the satisfaction that you have helped someone, even if it was only a small gesture. A lot of our patients are so appreciative for even small things that we do for them. When a patient or family member tells you that you helped in some way it makes the job worthwhile. |

What do you like to do when you are not at work? |
A. |
On weekends I am on our farm in Bedford County where we are raising Angus cattle. My sister also has a farm there so we see each other often. |

Who is an inspiration to you and why? |
A. |
The older I get the more I have come to appreciate someone who has depth of character and integrity. |
