Potomac’s Weight Loss Surgery & Healthy Living Expo, held on Sept. 21, 2008, in the Hylton Education Center provided a wealth of information to more than 100 attendees. The expo featured 26 exhibits, free massages, plastic surgery consultations, free blood pressure checks, free samples and door prizes, speakers and cholesterol and blood glucose screenings.
One highlight of the event was the fashion show, which featured 16 of Potomac Hospital’s weight loss surgery patients. The “models” strutted their stuff down the runway as the announcer detailed their weight loss surgery experiences. Special thanks to the participants and to Dress Barn and S&K Menswear for providing the fashion show outfits.
